Issho Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 5, 2026

Overview

Issho is a shared life coordination app from Sikoshi Tech, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how Issho handles information used to operate accounts, Circles, shared lists, reminders, events, availability, recommendations, notifications, feedback, support, and related app features.

Information Issho may collect

Issho may collect or process the following types of information depending on how you use the app:

  • Account information, such as your email address and authentication data
  • Email/password authentication handled through Supabase
  • Circle or group information, including Circle names, members, invites, and roles
  • Groceries, reminders, events, everyday plans, and related notes
  • Availability or status information you choose to share
  • Media recommendations, such as movie night picks
  • Cloud sync, backup, and sharing data for cloud-backed features
  • Push notification tokens used to send app notifications
  • Feedback submissions and support messages
  • Optional diagnostic context, such as app version, device type, or error details
  • Local-only data stored on your device

Local-only data

Some Issho data may be stored locally on your device. Local-only data may stay on your device unless you delete it in the app, sign out in a way that clears local state, uninstall the app, or clear app data through your device settings.

Circle sharing

Issho is built around shared Circles. Cloud-backed Circle content may be visible to other members of the Circle, including shared groceries, reminders, events, availability, recommendations, comments, updates, and other content you add or sync to that Circle.

How information is used

Issho uses information to:

  • Operate Issho accounts and authentication
  • Provide Circles, lists, reminders, events, and shared updates
  • Sync or back up cloud-enabled content
  • Send push notifications and account-related messages
  • Respond to feedback, support requests, and bug reports
  • Improve reliability, security, and user experience
  • Prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations

Service providers

Issho may use service providers to operate the app and related services. These may include Supabase for authentication, database, and storage features; Expo for app services and push notification delivery; Google Play for Android distribution, beta testing, and related platform services; and other vendors used for hosting, diagnostics, support, or business operations.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that help operate Issho
  • Circle members when you use shared Circle features
  • Legal or safety authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security
  • Parties involved in operating, securing, or supporting Issho

Account deletion

You can delete your Issho account in the app under Settings - Account - Delete account.

Account deletion removes or disconnects cloud account data associated with you, subject to technical, legal, security, and shared Circle limitations. Shared Circle content may remain available to other Circle members when appropriate, especially when that content was created in a shared Circle.

Children

Issho is not designed for children. Issho is intended for users who are old enough to manage personal accounts and shared household or planning information. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a way that requires deletion, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the app, website, or other appropriate means.
